Frequently asked questions.
Meet the hosts
Chessie - practicing what we preach; quite word by word. Is your country trying to give you a heart attack 24/7 ?
Better leave it and take your friends says Chessie.
Now, literal thousands of miles away from her birthplace, Chessie is starting life anew; though, with plenty of friends who have joined in to follow her. “Community is strength”, as she always says. You can bet we will be doing what we can to help you grow your own community.
Zakim - imagine a piece of gum, chewed on and spat out.
Then a group of pigeons have their turn.
Stuck onto a 12-wheeler tire for a decade,
Until finally ending up in a landfill, expected to die and decay.
Except they don’t, and they’re here to teach you how.
That’s Zakim. They’re also a certified healthy lifestyle specialist, it’s kind of their calling; and their actual business.
What are y’all about?
You. We’re about you. You getting what you need and the people who do everything in their power to keep you from getting it.
There is a reason you’re not where you are, and no, you’re not to blame for everything.
BUT, there is something you can do about it.
The first step to resistance and revolution- making sure you have the tools for it.
The most important tool is your health.
We hate lying. In fact, I’d rather die than lie; as people do end up paying the price for lies. Innocent people.
Perhaps we’re such people. I’d hate for this cycle to continue, just because I wasn’t strong enough to admit the truth.
"If the truth shall kill them, let them die"
Where do the donations go?
Hi, it’s Zakim. Let me tell you one thing, the destination is not my pocket.
I willingly chose the path. knowing it’s not going to make me rich.
Hell, best case scenario, it doesn’t make me go broke.
Everything you see before you is a passion, a mission project.
The microphones cost 200$ a pop,
Sound insulation (yes it’s not perfect yet, forgive me hon) 50$
And then 5 hours total per podcast for both me and Chessie.
If you can empower our voices to be heard, we will use all the leftover time after our jobs we get to be heard.
Political affiliation? sexual orientation? social class? marital status?
Oh dear, if only you could describe us with such minor descriptions.
The only correct answer is the length of several podcast episodes.
And, if you’re so inclined to hear it, let us know, and we’ll tell you.
